What is your therapy style like?

Therapy works best when it's a collaboration, and so while I am trained in a range of therapeutic modalities and I will draw on whatever fits you and your situation. Therapy with me is more of a conversation. I am not a particularly formal person and would rather you feel as though you're talking to someone you know. That doesn't mean I am not rigorous or work from a clinical framework. I would just prefer this to be a space were you can feel comfortable to bring me heavy things to talk about. I will approach whatever you bring to the session with the same frank, non-judgemental curiosity that I would hope to receive from a therapist.
